The Great Wall of China | McKinney, Texas, Portrait Photographer

It may seem like I have not posted in awhile and it would be true! I have been traveling Southeast Asia and spent most of April seeing some of the world’s wonders. One being the Great Wall of China. It is an amazing structure to see in person. My pictures do not do it justice. The size of it, the steepness of the mountains is far more than I would have expected.

It was a little foggy on the day we arrived to climb the wall, but I think you still get the idea from the pictures. In some ways, I think the fog worked in my favor for the photos, though I also wish I could have captured a little more depth so that you could see just how far off it goes. It is about 5,500 miles long, after all.:)

2015 High School Senior Pictures | McKinney, Texas, Senior Portrait Photographer

When I first met Eric you could tell he was a very genuine and kind person. He was also quite funny. While doing his photo session, we talked a lot and laughed a lot, as well as discussed what he planned on doing with his future. He proudly stated he is joining the Air Force. To stand as a soldier for our freedom is an amazing thing to do and I can happily say I wish him the very best and thank him for his soon to be service to our great nation.

Also, he plays some great music with his guitar.:)Check out a few photos from Eric’s senior portrait session!

Fortune Smiles | McKinney, Plano, Texas, Engagement Photographer

When a couple gets together and smiles just radiate from them, you know there’s something special.  Bonnie and Bobbie had that unique effect on each other and it was a pleasure to work with them on their engagement photo session. We took some time to walk out to the train tracks to get our initial shots and then made our way to an old country barn to snap a few more. It was a great time for everyone! Check out a few shots from their engagement session below!

Fun Engagement Shoots are the best | Plano, Texas, Engagement Photographer

From time to time I get the chance to do a shoot where it’s just full of laughs and a lot of laughs. Okay, the truth is, most of my shoots are like that! Getting to know people before the shoot is what the consultation is all about and it makes doing the actual shoot a lot more fun and a positive experience. It’s one thing to show up and take a few photos, but another to know you and talk with you and laugh with you.

One of my more recent shoots was just like that. A lot of smiling, laughing and of course, love. Check out a few shots from the shoot below!
